Alexandre Gama was the most awarded copywriter of his time when he worked at DM9 for four years from 1990. He then became the CCO and CEO of Young & Rubican agency in 1996. In 1999, he left the firm and created Neogama. His new company set the record in the Brazilian industry by being the first to win a Lion in the Cannes festival. Three years later it became the youngest company to win the Agency of the Year Award. Today, the company has won more than 23 prestigious awards.
In 2014, Alexandre Gama invested in Briggs Automotive, a British high-end car manufacturing company based in Liverpool. He also launched VIOLAB the same year. It is a platform for promoting Brazilian acoustic guitar players and musicians. The VIOLAB comprises of a recording studio, a radio program, recording label and a YouTube channel.
